ModeAura Returns & Refunds

A clear return process, handled with care.

We understand that an accessory may not always feel right once it arrives. Eligible items may be returned when a request is submitted within 30 calendar days of delivery and the item meets the conditions outlined below.

Before sending

Contact ModeAura and wait for return instructions before mailing an item. Returns sent without authorization may be delayed or may not reach the correct return location.

30-day request window

Submit an eligible return request within 30 calendar days after the tracking record shows delivery.

Original condition

Items must be unused, unworn, unwashed and unaltered, with tags, components and original packaging where applicable.

Contact ModeAura

Send your order number, the email address used at checkout, the item you wish to return and a brief reason for the request.

Requests can be submitted through the contact page or by emailing info@modeaura.shop.

Receive instructions

If the return is eligible, our team will provide the return location and any instructions needed for the specific accessory.

The business correspondence address should not be used unless the return instructions specifically direct you there.

Pack and send

Package the accessory securely with all included components. Use a tracked shipping service and retain the receipt until the return is complete.

Return shipping is generally the customer’s responsibility unless the item arrived damaged, defective or incorrect.

Inspection and refund

After the return arrives, it is inspected for eligibility. We will contact you when the review is complete and confirm the refund decision.

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method rather than issued as cash or transferred to another account.

Return eligibility

Condition matters at every detail.

A return must be suitable for inspection and potential resale. Please handle accessories carefully while deciding whether they are right for you.

Eligible condition

  • The request is submitted within 30 calendar days of delivery.
  • The accessory has not been worn, used, washed, altered or intentionally damaged.
  • Original tags, protective elements, detachable parts and included accessories remain present.
  • The item is returned in its original packaging where that packaging is part of its protection or presentation.
  • Proof of purchase from modeaura.shop can be confirmed.

Condition concerns

  • Visible wear, fragrance, makeup, stains, scratches or signs of extended handling may make an item ineligible.
  • Missing tags, packaging, straps, pouches, cases or decorative components may affect eligibility.
  • Damage caused after delivery, improper cleaning or unsuitable storage is not treated as an arrival issue.
  • Returns shipped without prior authorization may experience processing delays.
Return limitations

Items that may not qualify.

These limitations support hygiene, product integrity and fair inspection. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected where local law requires a different outcome.

Pierced jewelry, including earrings, may not be returnable after a hygiene seal or protective package has been opened, except where the item arrived damaged, defective or incorrect, or where applicable law requires otherwise.

Altered condition

Used or modified pieces

Items showing wear, washing, resizing, repair, personalization, modification, staining, fragrance, makeup or damage occurring after delivery may not be eligible for return.

Clearly marked terms

Final-sale merchandise

An item clearly identified as final sale at the time of purchase is not normally eligible for a change-of-mind return. This does not limit rights relating to an item that arrived damaged, defective or incorrect.

Inspect your order soon after delivery. Contact us as promptly as possible, preferably within seven calendar days, if an item arrives damaged, appears defective or differs from the item ordered.

Do not discard, repair, clean or ship the item until ModeAura has reviewed the information and provided the next steps.

Refund details

After your return arrives.

A delivered return is not automatically approved. Each item is reviewed against the eligibility conditions before a refund decision is confirmed.

Inspection period

Returns are generally reviewed within 3–5 business days after they are received. Processing may take longer during high-volume periods or when additional information is required.

Refund method

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. We cannot redirect a refund to a different card, account or person.

Payment processing

After ModeAura issues an approved refund, the payment provider or financial institution may require an additional 5–10 business days to display the funds.

Shipping charges

Original shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the order arrived damaged, defective or incorrect, or a refund is otherwise required by applicable law.

Return shipping

Customers are generally responsible for return shipping on change-of-mind returns. When ModeAura confirms an arrival issue, the team will provide the appropriate resolution instructions.

Declined returns

If a return does not meet the eligibility conditions, we will contact you with the available information. Additional shipping charges may apply if an ineligible item is requested back.

Can I return an item after trying it on?

Brief, careful handling may be acceptable when it does not leave signs of wear, fragrance, makeup, stretching or damage. The item must remain unused and suitable for inspection, with all tags and protective elements intact.

Can I send my return to the address shown on this page?

Not unless the return instructions specifically direct you there. Contact ModeAura first because the appropriate return location and instructions may depend on the order and item.

Do you offer direct exchanges?

Direct exchanges are not guaranteed. The clearest option is usually to request a return for the eligible item and place a separate order for the preferred accessory. Contact us before proceeding so we can review the available options.

Can I cancel an order before it ships?

Contact us as soon as possible. Orders are prepared for shipping within 3–5 business days, and cancellation cannot be guaranteed after fulfillment or shipping activity has begun.

What happens if my return parcel is lost in transit?

Use a tracked shipping service and keep the receipt. ModeAura cannot confirm receipt or issue a return refund for a parcel that does not reach the authorized return location.

Why has my approved refund not appeared yet?

First review the original payment account and allow the payment provider’s processing period. If the refund still does not appear after 10 business days from our confirmation, contact your financial institution and then share the details with ModeAura.

Does this policy affect rights provided by law?

No. This page describes ModeAura’s general return process and does not limit consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded in the customer’s applicable jurisdiction.
